I'm so excited to participate in the Jingle Hop blog hop. Hopefully you are visiting here after being at Sheri's amazing blog . I have some great ideas to share with you in using fonts to help make your gift wrapping amazing!
You can't see all the font details in the group photo so we will do them one by one.
Word Search Tags: This is a fun way to mix it up Christmas morning. In order to figure out whose present is whose you have to solve the puzzle. For this tag I used SNF Uptown which is on sale for just $1!
Gift Bag: I made my cute little Christmas tree out of stickers. Everything else is just glued on. Clothes pins is a fun and easy way to label your gift bags. Just print, cut, and modge podge. I used SNF Uptown again and SNF Sunday.
Chalkboard Wrapping: There are several ways you can do this. I just used black paper and wrote on it with chalk before wrapping. The problem with using real chalk is that it smears! So I would suggest using white paint and a dry brush or a white colored pencil instead. There are lots of chalkboard paints sold in store or recipes for chalkboard paint on the web if you would rather just paint your paper instead of buying black paper.
Letter Tags: A fun and easy way to label presents. I just used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters and hole punched them to make them into tags.
Hope you love the ideas. Enjoy the fun Christmas font, SnF Picardy while you are hopping around! It's free through the 7th!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the free font - and for showing us your creative ideas on how you can use fonts and letters to make wrapping presents more interesting. It does kind of look great and definitely different to regular wrapping!
Also, thank you for the code and being part of a great blog hop - probably one of the most creative i've ever been on - and that's down to LD and the creative people that were involved in the hop - all the freebies were bonuses as far as I'm concerned, because I've really enjoyed reading everyones project tutorials and ideas.
Kind regards
